Curtains for attic windows: types, choice of fabric, color, design, fastening, decor

Dormer windows require a special approach. Often they are located at an angle to the floor or have an original shape: round, in the form of an arch or trapezoid, triangular, oval, etc. Selecting curtains for attic windows is a difficult task. It is necessary to combine aesthetics and functionality. Without a frame, the interior will look unfinished.

Features of choosing curtains in the attic

It is worth considering some nuances:

  • For windows facing south, use curtains with a special reflective lining that prevents fading and heating.
  • It is equally important to choose a fabric that does not accumulate dirt and dust particles.
  • For small attic spaces, it is advisable to use laconic curtains with a simple design.
  • For sloping windows, it is better to choose curtains made of denser fabrics, since a powerful stream of sunlight falls on them.

Original solutions

There are unusual ways to decorate such non-standard windows:

  • The center of the opening remains without cornices, and on the side, beveled sides, light curtain fabrics are attached to them using hooks or rings, collected on curtain tape and secured crosswise. To prevent the curtains from sliding down, the upper fastenings are needed with locking mechanisms. You can even complement this design with lambrequins. In this case, the thickness and strength of the cornices must be selected based on the weight of the textile.
  • Several short straight curtain rods are placed at different levels above the window opening, the curtains hang straight (or intercepted in the middle). No additional fixation is required here. It is only necessary that there is space above the window bevels for attaching the cornices.
  • A simple-shaped canvas is attached in the center, and in the corners of the side bevels it is fixed with tiebacks.
  • Along the contour of the window, decorative hooks are screwed in at equal distances, onto which a textile fabric without cornices is attached.
  • An ordinary straight cornice is attached at the level of the beginning of the bevels, leaving the upper part undecorated.

Types of curtains for attics

There are many designs to choose from. Among them you can always find something suitable to your taste.

Blinds

They transmit sunlight perfectly or completely block it. Quite often, both horizontal and vertical lamellas of various colors and shades are used. Also, for attics, pleated curtains with a special coating are chosen to create a reflective effect.

Roman

Laconic and compact. They can be made of thick or translucent fabrics, plain or decorated with a wide variety of prints.

Rolled

Allows you to save space in the room. They are easily attached to the frame and make it possible to freely adjust the level of illumination in the room.

Curtains (tulle, veil, etc.)

They make the interior elegant and give it some zest. Sometimes they are supplemented with holders, decorative tiebacks or other accessories that add even more originality to the curtains.

The photo shows the bedroom interior and skylights with light curtains.

Curtains

They will create a warm and cozy atmosphere and are an ideal option for decorating an attic space. In addition, traditional curtains go well with other types of curtains. To hold them, special grabs and additional elements are used.

Blackout

Close the room from light and darken it by 80-90%. Perfect for organizing a day out.

Slanted window

Windows located in a sloping roof are also considered to be attic windows. Typically, such windows open from the bottom, pushing forward. That is, you won’t be able to open them. Despite the apparent strangeness, curtains with such windows look very interesting. But the main question remains: how to make them fit against a sloping wall?

Typically, a special metal mount, which is a thin tube, is used for these purposes. Sometimes this role is performed by a cornice. Don't pinch the curtains too hard. Their free arrangement always looks better.

The shape of the curtains can also be determined by the peculiarities of tailoring. This is suitable for those walls where the slope turns into a straight plane. Then at their intersection you can fasten a thick elastic band, as in the photo below. The main disadvantage of this option is that the curtains can only be used in one place, since they will no longer be suitable for spaces with a different layout.

As for design, the rules are exactly the same as in other cases, and even a little stricter. The complex shape is already an accent. The window does not need additional decorations in the form of complex tailoring, a combination of several types of fabrics or bright patterns.

There is one life hack for sloping walls. Do not hang the curtain rod directly above the window, but raise it higher. So visually you will stretch the room up a little. Light-colored curtains will help enhance the effect.

If you only care about functionality, you can consider short curtains that fit the window. For them, identical fastenings are installed at the top and bottom of the window, and the curtains themselves run along them as if on rails. Perhaps this is the most convenient of all possible options.

Blinds and roller blinds that are attached directly to the window also do an excellent job. The main advantage of this option is that ready-made models can be bought in the store at a very attractive price. Study the best sliding wardrobes in Moscow rating by following the link.

Location and shape of windows

Despite the complex shapes, there are many decoration options.

With sloping ceiling

Curtains on a sloping cornice will look great. To regulate lighting, tiebacks in the form of ribbons, tassels or fabric strips are used. This curtain composition will especially emphasize the unusual shape of the slanting window.

Windows with bevel (sloping)

For such window openings, blinds, roller blinds and regular curtains made of loose materials are suitable. Fabric panels placed on sloping windows will create a very cozy and romantic atmosphere in the room.

Triangular windows

Pleated curtains or curtains with hooks, evenly distributed along one side of a triangular window opening, will allow you to decorate such windows without limiting your imagination.

Trapezoidal

Compact roller or pleated curtains are perfect for trapezoidal windows. When using fabric curtains, the main thing is to choose the right cornice.

For large windows

Curtains made of translucent, airy materials, such as organza or veil, on the ceiling cornice, when decorating large panoramic windows, look elegant and harmoniously complement the interior.

The photo shows a living room with curtains on the panoramic attic windows.

Arched window

The best solution would be curtains that are connected in the center of the upper part of the window opening. To complete the picture, be sure to use tiebacks.

Round

On such a window, any curtain options look organic. The only thing is that some straight models of curtains, when closed, will not be able to emphasize the original shape of the window.

Ceiling

Transformable ceiling windows in the roof are quite an interesting interior detail; Roman or roller blinds are suitable for them.

Features of curtains for attic windows

In the attic you can use small curtains Source avatars.mds.yandex.net
Windows under the roof, and especially those located on its slope, receive 1/3 more light. To make the room comfortable to be in, it is necessary to shade it. Curtains are used for this. However, due to the complex shape of the frames and specifically opening sashes, it is necessary to abandon complex compositions or lambrequins. It is recommended to use simple and functional curtains.

  • If the window is on a sloped roof, traditional curtains will not work. Then the curtain rod will be used at the top of the frame, and additional fastening will be needed at the bend so that the curtains fit snugly against the window.
  • It is necessary to select the material so that it does not sag. Or use additional tensioners so that the curtains do not flutter, but are located quite tightly to the glass.
  • There should be enough light entering the room: there are often many niches and corners in attics. To prevent shadows from eating up the space, you need to take care of the insolation of the room. Therefore, attic curtains must be removed.
  • Attics often have an unusual shape. It is necessary to select decorative elements in such a way as to emphasize the advantageous aspects of the room and hide or interestingly play up the disadvantages. Everything should be aesthetically pleasing.
  • It is important to take into account the style of room design: for modern trends such as modern or high-tech, roller blinds, blinds or pleated are suitable. In classic and rustic styles, curtains are appropriate.
  • Bulky multi-layer draperies are not suitable for attics. It is worth giving preference to minimalist curtains.
  • The pattern on the canvases looks good if the attic has a children's room or plain walls. Prints do not go well with patterned wallpaper, paintings or decorative plaster.
  • You need to consider what material the house is built from. For example, with walls lined with wood panels, simple curtains or tulle look harmonious.

Material for attic curtains

A huge variety of materials allows you to create an appropriate and attractive image of curtains.

Paper

Used to make pleated curtains. Original paper accordion designs are ideal for those who want to design a window opening in a non-standard way.

Bamboo

Bamboo blinds have an individual and extravagant look. This design of attic window openings will give the room lightness and sophistication.

Plastic

Plastic slats provide a stylish design and original appearance to windows of almost any shape. In addition, this material is durable and environmentally friendly. Blinds are very practical, easy to use, maintain and clean.

Metal

Metal products are durable, do not deform and are quite easy to care for. However, such models heat up easily. Therefore, they are not recommended for installation on windows facing south.

Fabrics (tulle, organza, linen, cotton)

Fabric sheets will give the interior a complete look. There are no specific criteria for choosing material for curtains. The only thing is that the density of the fabric will depend on which side the windows are located.

Design and production features

All windows are manufactured only after measurements have been taken by a window company specialist. The production of trapezoidal (non-standard) structures requires particularly careful execution of all operations, from measuring the opening to installing the system. The company’s specialists encounter difficulties in manufacturing already in the process of designing the structure, since it is necessary to make an accurate calculation of each element, take into account the loads experienced by the profile and frame, and calculate the strength of the connections. Even the fittings that are equipped with a trapezoid window differ from those that are mounted on ordinary rectangular windows.

It should be taken into account that in order to equip the sashes with a tilting or tilting mechanism, it is necessary that one corner of the structure be straight.

In addition, when producing trapezoidal windows, other features should be taken into account, among which the most important is compliance with restrictions on the size of the corners. It is unacceptable to manufacture structures with acute angles less than 30º. This is due to the inability to properly join the profiles, which can lead to loss of tightness and a decrease in tensile strength (according to GOST 30673-99 “Polyvinyl chloride profiles for window and door blocks”, it should be at least 70% of the strength of entire profiles). As a rule, the same requirements are met in the manufacture of wooden trapezoidal windows.

Some manufacturing companies are able to offer their demanding customers windows with an angle of 22º. In this case, all issues are resolved with an individual approach, additional tasks arise, which leads to an increase in the cost of the structure and an increase in the time of its production.

The manufacture and installation of non-standard windows requires modern equipment; only in this case will the structure have the necessary tightness, strength, and security. But most importantly, highly professional specialists are needed, because installation often has to be carried out in difficult conditions: at heights, in the attic, which requires highly qualified employees.

Ideas in different styles

Attic curtains should be in harmony with the overall style and interior of the room.

Classic

The combination of tulle with curtains will transform the atmosphere, add elegant notes and create an aura of comfort in a classic interior. To fasten such curtains, double curtain rods or clamps are used, and the original design is complemented with tiebacks or clips.

The photo shows an office in a classic style and attic windows decorated with curtains with tulle.

Loft

The loft-style attic floor should be well lit. Therefore, simple monochromatic curtain designs with a predominantly smooth or metallized surface are used here.

Provence

Light and airy curtains made of light fabric with unobtrusive floral patterns will perfectly transmit sunlight and harmonize with the entire interior of the room.

Country

Not too bright curtains made from natural materials look best. Calico, linen or cotton fabrics will help create coziness, comfort and a complete rural look.

The photo shows a country-style children's room with curtains on the attic window.

Minimalism

This style welcomes simple geometric shapes. Roller blinds or blinds will add completeness to your interior design.

Scandinavian

Light curtains or blinds in pale, cool colors will look good here. Metal blinds can especially emphasize the asceticism of the Scandinavian style.

Chalet

The main principle of the chalet style is the use of only natural fabrics. Such curtains will create a cozy atmosphere and fit perfectly into the interior in the spirit of alpine mountain wooden houses.

The photo shows a chalet-style bedroom and skylights with light curtains.

Window types

Most often in modern houses there is a mansard type, which is located in the attic. If you have this type of opening that is located almost under the roof, then it is necessary to eliminate the effect of oppression and weight, emphasizing, on the contrary, the lightness of the structure. In this case, it is better to use roller blinds.

The second type of structure is a cornice window. It is almost no different from the usual one, only it is installed on the wall directly under the roof.

The third type is called a transforming window; a photo of attic curtains on such a structure displays all the originality of the object. It can easily turn into a balcony with the help of simple machinations. True, the object will be very expensive, which is why it is not very popular today.

A very interesting type of skylight is the light tunnel. This design is actually a pipe that goes into the attic at one end and onto the roof at the other.

Designers have developed another type of window openings for the attic called extension windows. This type is very original. On the one hand, the window will look original, and on the other, a large amount of sunlight will enter it.

The last type of such windows is the connection of a standard window. This combination will fill the room with additional sunlight. Based on the named types of window designs, you yourself must choose the type of curtains you need.

Color spectrum

With the right color, the room takes on a truly exceptional look and you simply won’t want to leave such a room.

Beige

Conservative color. Curtains in such a noble, elegant and soothing beige color scheme create a calming and relaxing environment in the room.

Burgundy

A choice for a person with delicate taste. Burgundy curtains will bring special warmth to the room and evoke a feeling of stability and prosperity.

Pink

Gives the room a feeling of freshness, lightness, romance and adds optimism.

Blue

Deep color. Its association with coolness allows the use of blue curtains to decorate windows located on the south side.

The photo shows a children's room and a dormer window with blue curtains.

Blue

Frosty and pure like snow. Canvases of this color visually increase the space of the room and the height of the walls.

Grey

An impartial and aloof color that is not conspicuous, but which can be elegant and reveal itself through a variety of complex shades.

How to hang curtains and curtains on non-standard windows

When designing a window that is sloping or has non-standard dimensions, you will need a flexible cornice that can change shape to suit the opening. Profile curtain rods are equipped with fasteners that prevent the curtains from rolling down. In this case, you can regulate the degree of illumination by fixing the curtain with a holder or grip.

To properly design a non-standard shaped window, you need:

  • choose a cornice that matches the shape of the top of the window;
  • the shape of the curtains should match the shape of the opening.

This method of draping will add volume and light to the room.

A semicircular cornice can be selected for an oval-shaped window. Curtains can be held in the open position using grips.

Curtain designs and drawings

Bright images and large patterns on the curtains can enliven any interior.

Geometry (stripes, abstraction)

Geometric prints are the hottest trend. Striped curtains delight with their aesthetic simplicity, and all kinds of abstraction always look original and interesting.

Ornaments and patterns

Unusual designs add beauty and homeliness to the room. This decor attracts attention and becomes the highlight of any interior.

Flowers

Bright and multifunctional floral prints will add summer mood, romance, warmth and comfort to the interior.

The photo shows the interior of the bedroom and curtains with a floral pattern on the attic window.

With photo printing

They have only positive characteristics. They can easily decorate a room and give it a unique look, perfectly replacing a panel or painting.

In the photo there is a bedroom for a girl and a dormer window with roller blinds with photo printing.

Slanted window

If the house has a wide roof, then the attic often contains several rooms. Then there is only one roof slope per one, which means the window turns out to be sloping. Don't be afraid of this layout: usually sloping windows become the highlight of the interior.

By the way, a special cornice is not needed in this case. An ordinary one, just hung at an angle, will do. Unless you have to give up metal models with free-running rings. Under the weight of the curtains they will simply roll down. You need to choose a hidden cornice with additional hooks that will be located along its entire length. To prevent the window from being constantly closed, you will have to use grabbers.

As for colors, you definitely shouldn’t match the pattern on the curtains to the wallpaper. In 2022, this technique is definitely irrelevant. It will look much more interesting if you choose curtains that match the patterns on the wallpaper. But you shouldn’t combine curtains with the background color - this is too simple and an unoriginal solution.

In an elegant interior, curtains can become one of the main unifying details. If we are talking about the living room, then most likely they will have purely decorative functions. This means you don’t have to think about the convenience of their use. Choose large accent fasteners - they will definitely not go unnoticed.

In the bedroom it is traditional to combine tulle and blackout curtains. True, inspired by the Scandinavian style, modern designers are increasingly offering to abandon tulle and let natural light into the room. For rooms with skylights, this can be a reasonable solution.

It’s convenient that it’s easy to find curtains for a sloping window in a regular store. You just have to cut them along the bottom edge at an angle. From a practicality point of view, it is better when the curtains do not reach the floor. But visually, models that end on the floor or even lie on it in soft folds look much richer.

By the way, the color of the curtains should not match not only the wallpaper, but also other textiles. It used to be fashionable to sew curtains and bedspreads from the same fabric. This technique is a thing of the past. You can choose a bedspread and curtains of the same color, but the shades or saturation should be different. This technique will automatically take the interior to a new level.

A very ambiguous issue with pickups. In general, free-hanging curtains are in fashion. But sometimes, tiebacks may simply be a more convenient option. In any case, if the fabric of the curtains has a pattern, it is better to make the tiebacks themselves plain. Models with heavy tassels are also far from being at the peak of popularity. The simpler and more inconspicuous the pickup is, the more stylish it will look. It's worth lowering it lower. Divide the wall into three parts and place it at a height of ⅓ from the floor.

Not only traditional blinds, but also Roman blinds look good on sloping windows. What you definitely shouldn’t do is hang regular Roman blinds, ignoring the shape of the window. This move will immediately make the interior look careless. Finding Roman blinds with a beveled top on sale is quite difficult; most likely, they will need to be sewn to order. But the price should not be too different from regular models. A reasonable difference in cost is no more than 20%.

A beveled window can be not only triangular, but also of a more complex shape. In this case, there will be a little more problems with its design, but at the end you can get a wow effect. As an option, you can order a cornice that follows the shape of the window. Making the cornice itself is not difficult; it is more difficult to think through a working system of hooks. Therefore, contact only reliable professionals. Beauty is important, but functionality should always come first.

Photos in the interior of the rooms

It is curtains that allow you to achieve a holistic design of the room.

Bedroom

Any option is suitable for the bedroom, the choice depends only on the style of the room. These can be either strict blinds, Roman or roller blinds, or curtains sewn from flowing fabric, complemented by accessories in the form of tiebacks.

Children's room

It is not advisable to use complex colors and patterns. Canvases made from natural fabric in calm shades, with their elegant simplicity, will add tenderness to the interior, both in a room for a girl and a boy.

Non-standard forms - difficult solutions

A triangle is a figure consisting of three angles whose sum is 180 degrees. Therefore, at least two of them will be acute . These are not the outlines we are used to seeing when contemplating classic window openings.

This is the essence of all the difficulties associated with ordering, installing and operating triangular windows. I'll start in order:

Problem No. 1: choosing the size of the angles

The window opening is made during the construction of the attic facade even before ordering the double-glazed windows themselves. And, of course, from a visual point of view, it would be ideal for me to follow the contours of the gable roof. But first, I decided to ask if there were any restrictions on the size of the corners of the triangular window being created, and, as it turned out, for good reason.

Firstly, a triangle can be:

  • Rectangular . In this case, the figure seems to lie on its side and, in order to achieve aesthetics, is used in pairs with the same one, only located in a mirror;

Wooden windows in the form of two right triangles

  • Isosceles or equilateral . Here it will already stand on the base, stretching upward with one of the corners.

An isosceles triangle follows the shape of the façade

Personally, I was more impressed by the second option, which, as you can see in the photo above, fits perfectly into the attic wall as a single solid structure. And there are some restrictions for the corners of the base of such a figure:

  • For a blind window , that is, a window that cannot be opened, they must be at least 30 degrees . Otherwise, the danger of their destruction during the installation or operational period is too great;
  • For an openable one - at least 45 degrees to ensure the normal process of opening and closing the valves.

The indicated values may vary for different profiles, so I recommend checking them when placing an order.

I was lucky, since my initial project met these requirements, but in general, of course, it is better to take all this into account when designing the attic floor and its roof.

Problem #2: Cost

The price of triangular windows is higher than their rectangular variations for the following reasons:

  • Cutting sharp corners itself is much more difficult and is accompanied by a high risk of cracks appearing on the glass surface, after which the product is no longer suitable for installation in the frame;
  • High material consumption , since suppliers provide only rectangular canvases, from which the desired shape is already cut out, as shown in the following diagram:

Diagram showing the presence of a large amount of glass residue after cutting the glass sheet

  • Making a custom frame also significantly increases the cost of the finished product;
  • The presence of a mechanism for opening the sash . Fixed windows will cost less than openable ones, since their manufacturing process is much simpler;
  • It should also be remembered that wooden profiles are much more expensive than plastic ones, although this also applies to classic rectangular samples.

I will give you examples of the cheapest offers from manufacturers, that is, solid PVC models with one leaf:

If you need a very large triangular window, I recommend using a combined option, installing a trapezoid in the lower part, and the triangle itself in the upper part. Otherwise, the structure may turn out to be unreliable and threaten the integrity of the facade.

The combination of trapezoid and triangle is best suited for large window openings

Problem #3: opening mechanism

The next decision that I had to make concerned the way in which the sash could be opened with my own hands in order to ventilate the room.

The following options are possible:

  • Deaf . These are the cheapest and most reliable windows that look quite beautiful in the attic. But you will have to forget about the flow of fresh air through such a window, since it does not have an opening mechanism at all;
  • Swing . Here the sash is already capable of rotating around a vertical axis, allowing the room to be ventilated, which is suitable either only for right-angled triangles, or for samples with an additional vertical crossbar;
  • Transom . In this case, the window is simply tilted using hinges installed on the horizontal base of the triangle. As a result, the window can be opened completely, but in this state the frame experiences the highest pressure, which should not be allowed for long periods of time;

Triangular plastic windows opening along a horizontal axis

  • Turn-and-tilt fanlight . This is the most complex option, providing the ability to perform both vertical and horizontal rotation of the sash. Wide functionality is overshadowed by the highest price and the presence of many elements prone to wear and tear.

Personally, I opted for a transom window, considering it the “golden mean” between functionality, economy and reliability.

Problem #4: interior design

Decorating a triangular window opening with curtains

A classic straight horizontal cornice with curtains for decorating a triangular window is suitable only if for some reason you want to hide the unusually shaped opening itself. Then you can confidently hang it from above, and the lowered panels will cover the angularity of the glass unit.

I wanted the decoration to match the lines of both the window and the roof of the attic, forming a single design ensemble with them. Therefore, I began to consider the following possibilities:

  1. Curtains . I will not go into details of the choice of material and colors, the main thing is that they match the interior of the attic floor. I’d better get straight to the point, or rather to the installation and arrangement of the cornice, in order to prevent the curtains from sliding down the slope in the future. The instructions I followed are like this:
  • I cut two bars with a cross-section of 50 by 50 mm and a length equal to the hip of the isosceles triangle of the double-glazed window;

I recommend using an electric jigsaw to cut timber. This will allow you to achieve absolutely even cuts in a matter of seconds.

  • I applied markings above the window and on the strips themselves for the fastening elements;
  • I drilled through the bars and the wall above the window opening. At the same time, do not forget to change the drill to a pobedit one and switch the “drilling” mode on the hammer drill to “drilling with impact”;
  • I fixed homemade cornice substitutes on both sides of the triangle using plastic dowels and self-tapping screws;
  • I attached pieces of special Velcro tape of appropriate sizes to them;

Sample of Velcro tape

  • I also applied matching pieces of tape to the edges of the curtains;
  • I hung the canvases in a static position above the window;
  1. Vertical blinds . Another excellent way to solve the problem of designing window openings of non-standard shape. Horizontal models, of course, will not work, but vertical ones can be easily ordered. True, such a pleasure will not be cheap, but due to its practicality and durability, over time it will more than recoup the financial costs spent on it;

Curtain mounting options

They should highlight the appearance of the curtains and ensure comfortable use.

On the eyelets

Fastening with grommets is suitable for inclined windows of the correct shape, with a lock or an upper and lower cornice.

Velcro

Allows you to easily design complex-shaped dormer windows. Using Velcro, the curtain is securely fixed in the desired position.

On hooks

This fastening does not imply the use of a cornice. Wall hooks are ideal for lightweight curtains.

The photo shows a bedroom and attic windows with curtains on hooks.

Additional accessories

To beautifully hang curtains or tulle, you will need additional accessories. Draperies need cornices: simple or figured, depending on the type of room. For windows located on a slope, additional fastenings are needed: they will avoid sagging. You can use clamps when framing the window: then the fabric will hang in beautiful folds. For thick fabric it is better to use eyelets.

Roller blinds and other more modern types of curtains can be equipped with an electric drive. Then they will rise and fall using the remote control. Adjustment will become simpler and more convenient. This is especially important if the room has high ceilings or windows.

Decor ideas

Decorating curtains should be not only beautiful, but also functional.

Lambrequins

They will add luxury to the attic space. However, such decor can only be used if there are high ceilings and an abundance of natural light.

Tiebacks

For traditional curtains, tiebacks are often used. They not only create aesthetic folds, but also allow you to conveniently fix the canvas.

Holders

These decorative elements allow you to adjust the level of lighting in the room. In addition, when they are used, the curtains form a certain silhouette.

Window design options in the shape of a trapezoid

A non-standard window design decorates the facade of the house and gives it an exclusive look. Indoors, this can be achieved by resorting to one of the popular design options for a trapezoidal window:

Colored plastic profile

Profile painting
Modern plastic windows do not have to be white. Using a special composition, the profile can be painted in one of 150 RAL colors. Painting is carried out in a factory and is a thin (80 microns) but durable coating that does not fade in the sun or wear off.

    Applying lamination to the profile

The design of non-standard windows using profile lamination allows you to reliably imitate the texture of wood, metal or stone. The procedure consists of applying a thin film to the profile surface at high temperature under pressure.

Decorating a double-glazed window

Stained glass
Creating a stained glass window involves applying varnishes, paints and special pattern separators to the inner surface of the glass of multi-chamber double-glazed windows.

Tinting

Using tinted glass or applying special films will not only protect you from the sun, but will also protect you from prying eyes, make the glass mirror-like, or add a tint that will harmonize with the overall color scheme of the house.

False binding

Allows you to give the window a vintage, retro style. It is carried out using special profiles (shpros), fixed inside or outside the double-glazed window in the form of a specific pattern. The decorative layout serves not only as a decorative element, but also allows you to increase the strength of the glass unit.
