Reviews about the company ausHaus, LLC. Funke profile reviews

Funke windows are assembled from profile systems produced in Germany. Unlike other famous brands from the EU, this European brand is not so well known to our consumers. However, the lack of popularity is the result of a later appearance on the Russian market and an insufficiently large-scale advertising campaign. The German quality of energy-efficient Funke profiles is confirmed by the excellent performance characteristics of windows, which we offer in economy, standard and premium class models.

Who makes Funke window profiles

All rights to the brand belong to the recognized European leader in the production of plastic products. In addition to profile systems, Funke Kunststoffe's product range includes engineering, drainage and sewer pipes, and storm drains. Funke Kunststoffe GmbH develops equipment for PVC casting independently based on its own ideas about quality and perfection. Although the company was created relatively recently - in 1962, it competes on equal terms in Europe with reputable manufacturers of PVC products. Systems for assembling plastic windows began to be produced in 1998. Currently, the company has representative offices in Britain, Russia, Poland, Kazakhstan, France, Italy and Austria.

Company ausHaus, LLC - reviews of the company's work

I want to share the positive emotions from the plastic windows that the Aushouse company installed for me - as a sign of gratitude, and because I am used to leaving reviews, for example, on Booking.com - all this helps people navigate the market. I had been thinking about plastic windows in my late mother’s apartment in the center of Moscow for a long time, but I was afraid of devastation, because... I'm not planning on doing any renovations any time soon. I had a sad experience more than 20 years ago in another apartment, where a “hurricane brigade” broke everything at once in my house, which is considered Stalinist, although it was built in the late 50s. As a result, I then had to do cosmetic repairs, for which I was not ready, either financially or organizationally, because... I didn’t know any good craftsmen with recommendations. In the end, everything turned out badly then. This left a very unpleasant aftertaste. I came across the Aushouse company by accident on the Internet, there was nothing intrusive (promises of huge discounts, phone calls with offers of “prevention”, “diagnosis” and other marketing ploys), but I found several positive reviews that gave the impression of being real. I called Alexander Efimov (order manager), he replied that before the New Year they need to close existing orders in order to calmly work with me as a new client. I was in no hurry. Before the holidays, he came to me, took measurements of the windows, sent a sketch with prices by mail, then came a second time, this time with the master Alexander (unfortunately, I don’t know his last name) - they took measurements again, thought out how to solve the problem of bars on the windows . The thing is that this apartment is on the ground floor, with bars on the windows - so I wanted to install brown windows to make the bars less noticeable. We chose chestnut color, window fittings (Rehau EURO Design with double-sided lamination “in bulk” according to RENOLIT - these subtleties were unfamiliar to me, but it’s more beautiful than just double-sided lamination of white windows, although more expensive), with a white window sill (good, not no comparison with the flimsy window sill from my past experience). I don’t recognize plastic slopes, and we agreed that I would do the plaster on my own (there is a good, proven painter, because bitter experience taught me to deal only with professionals). I made an advance payment and after the holidays, on a strictly appointed day, the windows were delivered to me. I was still afraid of day X, because... There are a lot of old, beautiful, but fragile things in this old apartment. But everything went much better than I expected. At 8 am, master Alexander and his young assistant Arthur arrived, covered everything with foil and began to work. Alexander worked simply amazing: calmly, well, with minimal damage to the slopes (a brick house, also built in the late 50s), and even when replacing the window sills he managed to preserve the old wallpaper and tiles in the kitchen - something I didn’t even count on. Initially, they planned to make three windows in two days, slowly, without rushing, but it turned out a little differently - window after window, simultaneously solving some technical problems (without burdening me with them), Alexander, with the help of Arthur, assembled everything into one light day. Another important detail - the removal of the old windows was planned for the next day, I thought of leaving them under my window in the yard for a day, but on that day the housing department's people, apparently having received a thrashing at their planning meeting, began unhealthy activity in the house - they chased the janitors , cleaning ladies, I got it too. I called Alexander the manager, and he arranged for the garbage collection vehicle to arrive on the same day, and at 5 pm the neat pile of garbage was gone. In the end, everything went, I think, perfectly - I am very pleased with the windows, the work of the team - first of all, of course, Alexander - a true professional - and his assistant, future psychologist Arthur. I also liked the accuracy, flexibility in responding to the situation and the individual approach (the merit of Alexander the manager), which is very important in this business. You don’t feel like you’re “on the fly,” but like a client who wants and can do the best. To sum it up, this experience of mine confirms the old truth that even the dirtiest and most destructive work in the house is not terrible when it is carried out by professionals. Good luck to Aushouse!

Funke profile systems

On the Russian market, Funke plastic profiles are represented mainly by 3 systems. With their use, 3- and 5-chamber windows with improved thermal characteristics are assembled. They are adapted to the climatic characteristics of the regions of the Russian Federation in which they are planned to be used. The Funke profile is made according to an exclusive recipe created in our own laboratory specifically for the production of products only from this brand. All window models assembled from Funke systems have a silky-glossy surface of impeccable white color. The general advantages of these profiles include:

  • durability – the service life of Funke door and window units is 40 years;
  • exclusive design – the proprietary angle of the frame and sash folds provides the windows with a unique and elegant look;
  • the seal is hidden under the profile - thanks to this design feature around the double-glazed windows, the contours of the tightness are almost invisible;
  • the seating depth of the double-glazed windows minimizes the likelihood of condensation forming around the spacer frames;
  • compatibility with anti-burglary fittings makes it possible to produce secure windows for installation on the first and last floors, dachas and private cottages;
  • Equipped with TPE seals ensures tightness and durability of the sealing contours, thereby reducing heat loss and providing protection against water and street dust entering the rooms.

The PVC mixture for co-extrusion of Funke profile systems was developed taking into account their operation in the northern regions of the Russian Federation. Stabilizers have been added to the polyvinyl chloride composition, increasing the impact strength of the plastic. Thanks to this, the windows do not become fragile in severe frosts. In addition to white systems, brown and beige profiles are available. It is also possible to laminate the surface of frames and sashes with colored or wood-like films.

Profile BauLine (Bauline)

The systems are designed for the assembly of 3-chamber door and window units of economy and standard class, the installation depth of which is 60 mm and 70 mm. Reinforced profiles minimize the risk of temperature deformation, perfectly withstand wind loads and prevent burglary. Bauline windows are suitable not only for installation in the southern regions of Russia. They are also used in moderate winter conditions. The addition of the BauLine line with profiles with a 70 mm installation depth made it possible to reduce heat loss along the perimeter of the opening. Moreover, the manufacturer claims that the energy efficiency of the 2 systems is the same. According to this indicator, Funke Baulein windows and doors are superior to other 3-chamber analogues. These structures are on average 10% warmer. The ability to install double-glazed windows even in blocks with a mounting depth of 60 mm ensures the possibility of their operation in noisy areas.

Profile KS Phoenix (Phoenix)

The three-chamber Funke Phoenix profile is inferior in energy efficiency to BauLine systems. The blocks assembled from it are intended for use in southern regions and installation of cold glazing in other climatic zones. The main advantages of this system are 3-mm external walls and the ability to complete plastic doors with an aluminum threshold. KS Phoenix windows are not recommended for use in heated buildings located in the central and northern regions of the Russian Federation.

Profile KS Helios (Helios)

This premium five-chamber system is best suited for the manufacture of windows that are planned to be used throughout Russia. The installation depth of Helios profiles is 70 mm, which prevents freezing of structures around the perimeter of the frames if installation is carried out correctly. The absence of cold bridges not only reduces heat loss, but also reduces the likelihood of condensation, ice formation, and mold development on slopes. External chambers provide complete drainage and effective ventilation of the folds. The mutual arrangement of 5 internal chambers allows to slow down the processes of heat exchange between the interior and the street, making KS Helios windows an ideal option for installation in private cottages. Additional protection of the seals extends the service life of the sealing circuits and reduces the risk of windows blowing out. Thanks to the excellent insulation of the inside of the light openings, the window fittings are reliably protected from moisture, which ensures the correct operation of the closing mechanisms.

Comparison table of Funke window parameters

When filling out an application, most customers do not understand which Funke windows to buy in a given situation. After all, it is difficult for a non-specialist to visually determine the differences between different models. In such cases, it is recommended to compare the main parameters of the systems.

KS Helios705440,89
KS Phoenix583320,7
BauLine60/703440,78

In addition to profiles, the energy efficiency, tightness and sound absorption of window and door units are influenced by double-glazed windows and the quality of installation. The choice of fittings and the accuracy of its adjustment are also important.

What did consumers pay attention to?

Window and balcony glazed with Funke Kunstoffe profile

GT forum member writes that the profile itself is good, but problems may arise with installation. “The glazing bead does not fit well on the laminate in bulk; the white standard one is much simpler.” So be careful and choose good masters.

Remember that the profile is only 25% of the window! The remaining 75% is double glazing. Therefore, be especially careful when choosing it.

In addition, installation has a great influence on the quality of the window. Try to find out more about the window installation company, because even a very good profile can be installed incorrectly.

Reviews about Funke windows

Trust in any brand increases when the technical information provided is complemented by the opinions of consumers and manufacturers.
The Funke profile, reviews of which show that it is suitable for solving various problems, has an optimal balance between the main parameters - price and quality. Thanks to this, windows assembled from German systems are in stable demand on the Russian market. Ignat Valeryev (teacher):
“The main reason I chose Funke windows is the absence of “mourning frames” around the double-glazed windows. Finally, a manufacturer was found who took care to hide the seals behind plastic. After 3 years of operation, I became convinced that the new Helios windows are warmer, quieter and more practical than the old models, although they were also 5-chamber.” Evgeniy (window installer): “It is necessary to separately note the quality of plastic of Funke systems.
During the delivery and installation of windows, the profile can be scratched. This is especially true when lifting large windows to the upper floors along narrow staircases. So, Funke windows almost never leave scratches or dents after accidental contact with railings or walls. This indicates the excellent composition of the PVC mixture that is used to make profiles of this brand.” Funke window profile has found its niche in the Russian construction market. The systems proposed by German manufacturers do not compete with the innovative developments of their European colleagues, which have an increased installation depth and from 6 to 8 internal chambers. The main competitive advantage of Funke windows is their moderate cost and ability to retain heat equally well in different climatic zones of the Russian Federation.

Advantages of Funke Kunstoffe profiles

Glazing with Funke Kunstoffe profile

On the forums we met a lot of enthusiastic reviews about the design of the Funke profiles. Here’s what user Sergey writes on the windowplan forum: “It stands out sharply against the background of other profiles, it’s impressive. Everything is thought out, even the color of the seal"

Indeed, Funke profiles have a very delicate light gray gasket. It protects windows well from blowing and dust and does not spoil the appearance at all.

Margarita on the same site says that when she went outside and visually compared the difference between her (Funke) and other people’s windows, she was pleasantly surprised.

Forum members also note the heat-insulating properties of this profile. Many confirm the absence of drafts. User Sanechka on the windowmedia website writes: “The windows have been standing for five years, they are still beautiful and warm.” Well, we hope that, as the manufacturer promises, the windows will last not only five, but also forty years!

On the Oknaplan website, Nikolai Anatolyevich said that he was pleasantly surprised by the amazing sound insulation. Why be surprised if it has a multi-chamber profile with a hermetically sealed seal.

They don't talk much about price. Apparently, the quality of the profile overshadows the burden of expense. User Elizaveta writes that she was not disappointed in her choice: “The windows performed well in summer and winter, and the price was quite reasonable.”
