In Russian open spaces, there are mainly three models of fittings produced by the German company Siegenia-Aubi: Favorit, Titan and A300. There are no fundamental differences in the adjustment of all three types of products; in cases where any nuances arise, this will be reported additionally.
Experts from the manufacturer recommend that users of the fittings carry out only lubrication themselves; mechanical adjustment will be difficult for a person who does not have the appropriate professional skills; in such cases, it is better to seek the help of service specialists.

Tool – 4mm hexagon; but for some types of adjustments, you may need a screwdriver and a special wrench, usually included with other fittings.
Adjustment options for SIEGENIA-AUBI A300 fittings:
- If the roller does not engage sufficiently with the mating part: use a screwdriver to pry out the roller from its rear side. If the sash is pressed against the frame too weakly or too strongly: use a 4 mm hex key (SW4) to adjust the eccentrically shaped roller. Roller adjustment range ± 0.75 mm.
- If the sash is pressed too weakly or too tightly against the frame: adjust the eccentric roller using an SW4 hex key.
- When hanging or removing the sash: the scissors are adjusted using an SW4 hex key.
- When hanging or removing the sash: the corner support is adjusted using the SIEGENIA-AUBI adjusting key ES001 and the hex key SW4.
- When adjusting the sash horizontally on a corner support: the corner support is adjusted using an SW4 hex key.

To eliminate this problem, you need to remove the decorative trim from the bottom hinge, find a vertical screw at its end, insert a hexagon into its recess and, rotating it, lift the sash. This adjustment method allows you to move the sash within +_ 2 mm. This adjustment is usually sufficient to solve the problem.

Another problem is the end of the sash that is farthest from the hinges touching when closing the frame (or difficult opening). This problem can occur due to thermal shrinkage of the frame. The way to eliminate it is to tighten the sash to the hinges using horizontal screws of the upper and lower hinges.
On the bottom hinge, this screw is located on the side. It is located in a plane parallel to the plane of the window, and is visible both when the sash is open and when the sash is closed. By rotating it with a hexagon, you can pull the sash to the bottom hinge.

To find the adjusting screw at the top of the window, you need to open the sash and look at its end. It's at the very top. By rotating it with a hexagon, we can tighten (or move) the sash in the direction of the upper hinge.

Adjusting the pressure of the sash to the frame

Like all brands of fittings, Siegenia-Aubi is equipped with the function of moving the window from winter to summer position and back (strengthening or facilitating the pressing of the sash to the frame). This translation is carried out using eccentric pivot pins located around the perimeter of the sash.
Unlike most fittings, for Siegenia-Aubi models these trunnions can be equipped with both a recess for a hex key and a slot for a screwdriver. In total, there can be up to 10 such trunnions along the perimeter of the fittings; When adjusting the tightness of the sash against the frame, you should try to rotate them to the same angle relative to the neutral position. You can navigate by the notches made on the ends of the trunnions.
Pressure adjustment in the upper scissors of the Siegenia-Aubi fittings
By turning the short notch towards the seal, you loosen the pressure.
By turning the long notch towards the seal, you increase the pressure.
Another pressure adjustment point is located on the Siegenia-Aubi fittings in the upper scissors. This screw can be seen if you open the window and look at the scissors from below. By rotating it, you can adjust the pressure within +_ 1 mm.

If your windows have a bottom rebate hinge, there is another pressure adjustment point on it. It is also visible when the sash is open. By turning the screw in the rebate hinge, you can also move the sash in the range of +_ 1 mm.
A feature of adjusting Siegenia-Aubi fittings is the need to use a special 11-mm key when rotating the powerful anti-burglary trunnions.

From Favorites to TITANs

This is a truly versatile profile. They can be used to complete windows of any shape, incl. oval, or with curved sides of the frames.
The company's designers separately developed fittings for windows with plastic and wooden profiles and aluminum ones.
Fittings for sliding structures (such as French windows and accordion doors) and door fittings are also produced. Of course, the company provides a lot of additional options.
Siegenia-Aubi fittings can be used on arched windows
After the merger of the Siegenia and Aubi companies, the model range of both enterprises was preserved: the production of both the “Siegenia” Favorit Si-Line and the A300 from Aubi continued. But in 2004, a new generation of fittings was introduced to the market: TITAN AF and TITAN iP. We will talk about these models further.
Favorit Si-Line appeared on the market back in 1972. This is perhaps the first production model of fittings controlled by just one handle. Subsequently, it became the standard for similar designs.

Profile tying with Siegenia-Aubi fittings
Despite the fact that the first windows were equipped with this fittings more than 40 years ago, it is still popular. Careful manufacturing and assembly combined with the use of wear-resistant materials and coatings provide it with excellent durability.
The A300 fittings have many similarities with Favorit Si-Line. It also had good anti-burglary characteristics. Its peculiarity is the connection of the microlift with a blocker for incorrect opening of the sash.
Another interesting solution is to equip the locking pins with a rotating roller. This design makes locking easier, reduces effort when operating the window, and reduces wear of rubbing parts.
The TITAN AF fittings are a development of the Favorit Si-Line model. During its development, a modular design principle was implemented. That is, the product can be assembled in modules - ready-made units.

TITAN iP fittings can be mounted on profiles before welding
A number of new options have been introduced. For example, the bevel drive is equipped with a built-in burglary protection system. The improved scissor design ensures smooth sliding when the sash is moved to an inclined position.

An even more advanced model is TITAN iP. True, the main development took place in technological terms: the features of this model allow it to be assembled on an unwelded frame (in other words, on profile blanks). This is more convenient and cheaper, and allows you to mount fittings on windows of any configuration. In consumer terms, TITAN iP is in no way inferior to the basic TITAN AF model.

Features of adjustment of the A300 system
Maintenance of hardware components such as the corner and scissor supports are fundamental to maintaining functionality and keeping wear under control. Depending on the need, it is necessary to tighten the screws for fastening or change individual elements of the fittings.
In addition, we recommend carrying out the following maintenance work once a year:
- Lubricate all moving parts and pressure points and check them for functionality. It is necessary to use exclusively neutral fats and oils (not containing acids)
- Use only cleaning and window care products that do not harm the anti-corrosion coating of the fittings.
- To install fittings, especially corner supports and scissors, replacing fittings, as well as hanging and removing the sash, invite specialists.
Anti-theft trunnion for Siegenia-Aubi fittings
On the A300 system, the anti-burglary roller is located at the lower corner of the sash. It is believed that this increases the burglary resistance of the fittings when the sash is in the tilted position.
Another feature of the A300 is the use of roller pins, which serve to soften the movement of the locking mechanism. To make it easier to work with these trunnions, they can be “snapped out”. In other words, pull it out 2 mm, hooking it with your fingers or pliers.
The A300 system also has its own characteristics and eliminates the illegal operation of the window lock from improper opening. This triggering occurs if the user moves the handle too quickly from the open window position to the tilted window position or vice versa. In this case, the lock does not have time to operate correctly and fixes the handle in an intermediate position, preventing the window from being locked.
Unlocking a window with fittings A 300
To eliminate this problem, you need to find a thin spring-loaded plate near the handle and press it against the seal, then gently turn the handle to the position you need.
If this does not work, then you need to check whether the sash is strictly in a vertical position. If not, then manually set it vertically and again try to turn the handle to the correct position. If it doesn’t work again, then the breakdown is serious. We need to call a specialist.
In other designs of Siegenia-Aubi fittings, the elimination of illegal blocking of the handle is carried out in the same way as with most fitting systems: by manually aligning the clip of the locking mechanism into a vertical position.

All adjusting screws, locking pins, and other rubbing parts need increased lubrication. The remaining parts of the fitting perimeter can be lubricated by dropping 1-2 drops of oil (lubricant) onto them. In the diagram, the image of an oil can indicates places that need increased lubrication.
Independent replacement of hardware parts is not allowed!
The only exception is the handle. The procedure for replacing it is intuitive. You need to turn the decorative strip covering the mounting screws (screws) 90 degrees, unscrew the screws, and remove the handle. Replace it with a new one, tighten the screws, and replace the decorative strip. In a similar way, you can install a comb - a multi-position ventilation regulator.
