The EXPROF production arose on the basis of the largest window company in Western Siberia, Plastkonstruktsia. The starting point was the idea of ​​extruding profiles for our own needs and gradually abandoning the purchase of PVC profiles from external suppliers. In March 2001, the ExProf company was created, and already in June the first Cincinnati-Greiner extrusion line, which at that time was the only one in (Western) Siberia, went into operation.

The growing interest of window manufacturers and the accumulating experience of extrusion gradually reoriented the strategic priorities of production from their own needs to the wide window market. The ExProf company made a truly serious start at the beginning of 2003 with the opening of the first dealer warehouses in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Ufa, and then Irkutsk. By this time, EXPROF profiles already constituted a technically mature, completely closed system, tested in two Siberian winters. The subsequent rapid increase in demand and expansion of production brought the company to the top five leaders of the Russian PVC profile market by 2007.

Today, the ExProf plant is a large-scale production and warehouse complex, which includes four factory buildings, a warehouse for raw materials and additives, silos for storing and supplying PVC resin for production, a site for storing and loading profiles and components, a railway line with an unloading ramp and the surrounding area for new construction with a total area of ​​5 hectares.

24 extrusion lines produce about 40 thousand tons of profiles per year. These volumes are sold through regional and dealer warehouses in 35 largest cities in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. Every twelfth plastic window in Russia today is made from EXPROF brand profiles.

Five-chamber system with a basic installation depth of 70 mm. The thickness of the front walls is 3 mm, frost-resistant recipe and unique heat/sound insulating characteristics. Four system beads provide for the installation of double-glazed windows with a thickness of 24, 32-34, 36 and 40-42 mm. However, the system also allows the use of glazing beads of the 58 series (Practica and AeroTherma), expanding the range of double-glazed windows used to 46 mm.

The increased height of the outer flange of the frame, sash, impost and, accordingly, glazing beads allows you to deepen the double-glazed window by 25 mm versus 16 mm in conventional systems. In this way, the cold bridge along the aluminum spacer frame is insulated by plastic and prevents edge effects.

Exprof AeroTherma window system

When buying windows, do you expect more than just warmth and silence? You're doing it right! The unique 10 cm thick frame has a special channel inside for dosed access of fresh air. Exprof Profecta and Profecta plus window systems

The five-chamber system with a width of 70 mm has all the advantages of elite systems, while remaining accessible to a wide range of consumers!

Thermophysical characteristics will satisfy today's and tomorrow's energy efficiency requirements. Double-glazed windows up to 44 mm thick will also provide excellent sound insulation.

Since 2012, it has been produced in two versions: EXPROF Profecta with a low-profile frame and EXPROF Profecta Plus with a standard height frame. Thanks to the reduced height of the frame profile, the EXPROF Profecta window unit allows more light to pass through. The rest of the differences are purely technological.

Description of exprof profecta

The product belongs to low-profile systems. All main models have a reduced overall height. Thanks to this, it became possible to reduce the cost of products. Another important advantage was the increase in translucent area. The composition of the kits allows you to assemble several types of blocks:

  • standardized;
  • bay windows;
  • for doors and balconies.

The combination with additional collectors of the S358 Practica sample increases the design capabilities of the entire system. Double-glazed windows of the S571 model are produced with tinted glass and a white profile color. Sealant for EPDM assembly with an extended TPE seal is not produced. Experts do not exclude the possibility of producing laminated windows in any color to order. The glass unit parts are fixed using glazing beads from the S358 series.

Exprofect is a practical five-chamber window model with an installation thickness of 70 mm. It has the main advantages of the elite series. The price of the product remains within the limits available to the main consumer. The company offers another version of double-glazed windows, which has a thickness of 42 mm. It provides the system with increased heat-saving and sound-absorbing characteristics. Excellent transparency of products and frost resistance discolor metal-plastic profiles with qualities similar to their European counterparts.

Exprof AeroSuprema

Five-chamber system with a basic installation depth of 70 mm and a wide frame of 118 mm.

A wide frame with an intra-profile supply ventilation system reliably protects slopes from freezing, is insensitive to window opening defects and installation errors, improves air exchange and microclimate in the apartment, providing maximum comfort to the consumer.

The in-profile supply ventilation system is free from the disadvantages of other solutions, since it is not connected to the vestibule. It provides a uniform, dosed flow of fresh air from the street without disturbing the heat and sound insulation of the window. By restoring air exchange between the street and the room, the system effectively removes excess moisture and lowers the dew point.

The thickness of the front walls is 3 mm, the frost-resistant recipe and unique heat/sound-insulating characteristics will satisfy the requirements of the most demanding customer and the strictest regulations. Four system beads provide for the installation of double-glazed windows with a thickness of 24, 32-34, 36 and 40-42 mm. However, the system also allows the use of glazing beads of the 58 series (Practica and AeroTherma), expanding the range of double-glazed windows used to 46 mm.

New product from ExProf 2012. Six-chamber 70 mm profiles with very high thermal insulation properties and the possibility of equipping with energy-saving double-glazed windows up to 44 mm thick make the EXPROF Experta window exceptionally warm. The frost resistance and durability of the plastic corresponds to the highest class in terms of operating conditions. There is no question of climate restrictions for this system. It meets the most stringent requirements for all standardized characteristics.

For the first time, the EXPROF Experta system features a 13 mm anti-burglary fitting groove, which increases the security and burglary resistance of window structures. In addition, the range of proprietary auxiliary profiles, also compatible with other 70 mm wide EXPROF systems, has significantly expanded their design and functionality.

Thanks to the unification of components and compatibility with EXPROF systems of the S571 mm series (Profecta, Profecta Plus, AeroProfecta), new advantages open up for the manufacturer and customer of window structures.

Why should you choose ExProf windows?

Construction . One of the advantages of plastic windows is their tightness. But tightly closed doors are an insurmountable obstacle not only to wind, noise and cold, but also to fresh air necessary for breathing. As a result, people complain about stuffiness, and window units “react” by fogging up the glass and dampening the slopes. Engineers have found a way to prevent these problems. EXPROF AeroTherma, AeroProfecta, AeroExperta and AeroSuprema frame profiles have a special ventilation chamber.

In the finished window, it forms a thermally insulated air duct along the entire perimeter of the frame. A system of holes connects it at the bottom of the frame with the street, at the top with the room, forming a labyrinth at the exit. Thus, access to fresh air from the street is carried out entirely through a system of channels inside the frame, bypassing the vestibule.

Climate . The Russian climate is more severe; the difference between the temperature outside and indoors ranges from -50°C to +20°C. The profile can react painfully to such changes, and this leads to a significant and asymmetrical change in the size of the entire window unit. As a result, the adjustment of window fittings gets lost, depressurization occurs, and in some cases it becomes simply impossible to open the window.

EXPROF window units do not face such problems. To create a frost-resistant EXPROF PVC profile, German technologists developed a special recipe that takes into account our climatic conditions. Frost resistance of EXPROF is tested not even at -20°C, as is considered sufficient according to GOST, but at -30°C. EXPROF profiles are officially certified as frost-resistant, therefore the letter “M” is included in the markings applied to the surface of the profiles according to GOST.

Technologies . The initial PVC composition is prepared at the ExProf plant from high-quality components supplied by world leaders in chemical and polymer technologies.

For many years, we have been using the know-how of the American company DuPont in the formulation - a special grade of titanium dioxide in the form of a powder of microparticles coated with a silicon oxide shell. It is this technology that makes the main contribution to the exceptional whiteness, gloss and durability of EXPROF profiles.

Which profile is better Rehau vs Exprof

Recently, there has been a trend of increasing consumer interest in the question of the advantages of the Rehau Blitz New profile over Exprof Practica and, in general, the topic regarding all profiles of other brands, an expert review from the point of familiarity with profiles since 2001.

With each new crisis, 2014 is no exception, when the currency doubled, and for many buyers the windows were simply unaffordable. Due to the imported raw materials used, the cost of the profile and components has skyrocketed along with the currency. Window manufacturers began to look for a Russian profile made from Russian raw materials that was more interesting in price and not inferior in quality, as evidenced by the growing demand since 2014 for PVC raw materials of Russian production, and this affected almost all manufacturers using PVC as a raw material. Exprof turned out to be the optimal profile from the consumer’s point of view, both in the price range and in time-tested quality, and therefore quickly gained popularity among Russian manufacturers. By the way, for reference, all well-known factories producing profiles, including Rehau, have been in Russia for a long time, and if they offer you a German profile, for example, they are most likely deceiving you.

Beware of the object profile.

Today, all companies producing profiles have cheaper segments; as a rule, professionals call them object segments.

Object profiles do not differ externally from (non-object) and the differences are inside the profile itself: thinner walls of internal partitions or their absence, thinner walls on the outer and inner front walls, it happens that the profile is painted on the front surfaces. In general, object profiles have long been nothing new for processors; in some profile systems they have always existed and are needed by definition on the market, for example, for glazing non-residential premises; hospitals, schools, entrances, etc., this is exactly how the objects of the profile until recently positioned themselves.

Rehau already had a low-cost (facility) segment and more than one, but even it could not compete in price with Exprof. Exprof occupies a large share of the Russian market and is practically no different from KBE and is its analogue; by the way, only KBE is considered the standard of a window profile; its cut as a sample is also indicated in the Russian GOST. The equipment for profile processing is suitable for most of the existing profile systems whose parameters coincide with KBE. Exprof in some ways even surpasses KBE, primarily at a price in the same class and maintains high quality in unchanged parameters.

It is worth noting that when marking a profile, the brand is given first place, and the profile brand is hidden in a smaller font or the example is made less noticeable; Rehau (brand)| Blitz New (profile) or Exprof | Practica therefore, the buyer should pay attention to the second name when comparing profiles and their affiliation with objects on the official website of the profile manufacturer.

Rehau has wonderful profiles and they really deserve attention, but the cost of such windows from Rehau Blitz New will be very different and will most likely not suit the buyer. There is no point in comparing Blitz New with Exprof Practica since these are different classes of profiles, by definition class B (Blitz) and A (Practica) in Rehau they do not hide this at all; there is honestly in the information on the site, but there are no parameters. They should not answer how company sellers present information to the end consumer about the Blitz New profile, but they hide the marking as much as possible, highlighting the Rehau brand. For many companies today it is profitable to sell a low-cost product by passing it off as “premium”, because their goal is only sales, otherwise they will not survive.

It turns out that the Rehau Blitz New profile can only be compared with Exprof ProWin (not to be confused with Practica) where their class and characteristics are the same, even in this situation Blitz New is inferior to the object ProWin in the price range and the technical characteristics are identical.

Based on the above, when choosing between Rehau Blitz New and Exprof Practica, choose Exprof Practica.


In general, the profile of Rehau Exprof KBE or it will be VEKA, Novoline are somehow the same in the same class. They differ only in design; the price, in turn, depends on the value of the brand. Windows of all brands are designed for the same purpose of filling the opening; the window itself, provided it is well assembled, high-quality installation and timely service from the client, is not different in terms of quality of operation.

Multi-glass, energy-saving glass, or heated glass will help improve the energy-saving characteristics of any window, but that’s another topic.

The buyer’s interest in the Rehau Blitz New profile is fueled by the brand’s popularity and the buyer’s trust in the inflexibility of Rehau’s high quality, which played into the hands of unscrupulous Rehau sellers and marketers.
