Schtern 70 mm

Such stern windows differ from the previous ones in the width of the profile and glass unit. The latter can be 24 mm, with 2 glasses, and 38 mm - with 3 (see photo).

Schtern 82 mm

The thickest six-chamber profile (not to be confused with double-glazed windows) which retains heat best. In other words, if you live in the middle zone or in the south, you don’t need it.

When making the profile, the technology of glued glass is used (in other models it can be glued or regular). This is when it is mounted not during installation of the window, but during assembly. On the one hand, it’s more convenient. After all, the glass frame sinks lower than usual. And the window becomes lighter and warmer. On the other hand, if the glass breaks, you will have to change the entire profile at once.

This combined system with an installation depth of 82 mm is made using simultaneous use of plastic and aluminum.
Stern Thermo profiles are used to assemble load-resistant and warm premium windows with 2 sealing contours. The aluminum profile is located on the outside of the structure and protects the plastic from overheating, and also gives the products additional rigidity and stability of shape. The SCHTERN THERMO system is based on a 3-chamber PVC profile with steel reinforcement. In this modification of windows, the manufacturer realizes all the advantages of the premium series:

The internal chambers of the aluminum linings are filled with foam insulation, thanks to which it was possible to further increase the energy efficiency of Thermo Windows. ONLY frost-resistant profiles

According to GOST 30673-99 “PVC profiles for window and door units” for resistance to climatic influences, ALL of our profiles are “frost-resistant” - for areas with an AVERAGE monthly air temperature in January BELOW minus 20°C.

GOST standards for different classes:

• normal version “N”: the average temperature in January is minus 20°C and above
• frost-resistant version “M”: the average temperature in January is lower than minus 20°C

Our assortment includes ONLY frost-resistant profile systems marked with the letter “M”.

Heat transfer resistance (thermal thermal resistance) is the main thermal insulation coefficient. It is determined by the ratio of the temperature difference between the outside and inside the room to the heat flow passing through the window. The higher this number, the better the insulation performance.

Profiles ONLY of the highest class “A”

According to GOST 30673-99 “PVC profiles for window and door blocks” in terms of the thickness of the internal walls, ALL of our profiles are the highest class “A” - the thickness of their front wall is at least 3 mm.

GOST standards for different classes:

• class “A”: front wall not less than 3.0 mm
• class “B”: front wall not less than 2.5 mm
• class “C”: wall thickness is not standardized

Please note that 80-90% of the Russian market are classes “B” and “C” and only 10-20% are class “A” profiles. At the same time, VEKA’s assortment includes ONLY class “A” profiles.

The curves are like a barrel, and on windows 1500*1600 mm the size in the middle of the window was 1530 mm horizontally and 1640 mm vertically. They brought us without documents, now they are trying to assure us that we accepted the windows and are very happy. Avoid this office, the quality of their workmanship has fallen below the plinth, as even the drivers say.

We ordered stained glass windows in warm ALUMARK aluminum in August, installed in September curves blowing from all sides. In November the glass cracked, replaced in January. Now the windows have stopped closing. The contract was concluded with STERN. Some kind of scam or imposition of services. They look from the street, those whose windows have not been replaced, they go to where the doors are open, to those entrances. (And after the winter, we won’t exchange cherries for plastic, there’s no point in poisoning them with free chlorine from the plastic profile) But on the back are the names of the great measurers Gleb Sergeevich and Yaroslav Sergeevich. Hello. We recently ordered a wooden window (2-hung). The cost was 32,000 for the window itself and plus delivery and installation another 6,000 rubles. total 38000 rub. 80% advance payment! a rather large amount for one window.
