Crochet curtains are a cool way to decorate almost any space, however, if you have a desire to decorate, but have absolutely no desire to take on such a large project or simply don’t have enough time for it, you can crochet curtain holders yourself . However, these decorative things are good even if they are not tied to knitted curtains - they are also suitable, you understand, for the most ordinary textile products that you use to cover windows. The biggest advantage of such projects is the speed of execution: in a matter of minutes you can do everything you planned. An additional bonus is that with the help of curtain tiebacks you can transform the room, completely change the accents in the room, visually change the proportions and create the desired atmosphere. The choice is huge, go to any construction supermarket: metal, wood, plastic, textile - there are many options, but, you see, do-it-yourself curtain holders are always beyond competition!

Knitting curtain tieback No. 1
Everything is simple here. Knit a rectangular gray base according to pattern 1:
And I borrowed the flower pattern from one of the participants in the Competition, which was recently held on my website. You will find it here. Only I added a single crochet stitch with threads of a contrasting color.
We crochet 3 of these flowers, decorate them with beads, and make ribbon ties on both sides of the base (chain of VP and 1 row of double crochet).
We sew on the flowers, and it turns out like this:
Tiebacks for children's
The children's room is a place where children spend a lot of time.
You can style the curtains in it with the help of small soft toys that are boring to your child. This can be done by attaching a small bear, bunny or other toy to a textile tie in the center.
The toy should seem to hug the curtain. You can take a thick rope and hang many different small toys on it, like pendants on bracelets; loops can be made by simply making them on the rope.

Here is a crochet border pattern that can also make a wonderful decoration for curtains.

First we knit 4 rows, indicated in the diagram in black,
then take another thread and knit 2 more rows (green in the diagram).
Now we need to decorate our curtain tieback with tassels. I wound the threads around my palm...
and tied them to arches from VP.
Then I ironed them and trimmed them with scissors.
And here is the result:
What do you need to knit unique curtains?
Material costs are minimal. When you go to a handicraft store, you can find everything you need and even more. If difficulties arise, there is always the opportunity to contact a consultant. He will advise and help with the choice.
Use quality hooks for crocheting curtains.
First, you need to decide on the main tool – a crochet hook. He must not be alone. It is worth purchasing several different ones (differing in diameter). The material from which the tool is made does not matter. Also in the store you need to select threads with the desired thickness. For ease of creation, you should use a diagram.
Hook options:
- Plastic.
- Metal.
- Wood.
Wooden hooks have become especially popular recently.
Natural fibers are considered the most acceptable yarn options. Here are some options:
- Wool.
- Cotton.
- Linen.
- Silk.
Of course, you can use synthetics, but their durability is extremely low. The color scheme of the threads can be completely different. Their choice depends on the preferences of the craftswoman.
Plastic hooks are popular due to their low cost, but they break more often than metal and wooden ones.

First we knit the motifs according to the pattern
I got 5 of them.
We connect them in 2 places on the side.
Then we will tie them with arches of 5 VPs with a thread of a different color. We attach the arches with single crochets and with the same column we connect the long arches of white motifs (see photo).
Then you need to knit another row, alternating a double crochet and 2 ch.
We’ll make a loop on one edge, and sew a beautiful button on the other. All is ready!
Let your home become even more comfortable with these knitted curtain tiebacks.
