One of the first reasons is the poor state of the environment, its dustiness and gas contamination. When condensation forms inside the sash due to temperature changes, it absorbs small dust particles from the environment - a viscous substance is obtained that accumulates on the mechanisms and accelerates wear. The second factor is exploitation. The more often and more aggressively windows are used, the faster their working mechanisms wear out, wear out, and become clogged.
To neutralize these factors, it is important to regularly wipe all surfaces of the frame and sashes and lubricate the moving mechanisms.
Switching designs from Rehau to winter and summer
Each metal-plastic window with adjustable modes has 3 possible variations :

Left-right
If you observe a noticeable skew of the sash, try to correct it by moving it to the right or left. First, find the upper and lower hinges of the sash, open it - you will see metal fittings, in the upper part of which there is a hole for a hex key. Insert the key into the hole and make 3-4 turns clockwise until the angle rises to its previous level.
With exactly the same manipulations you can move the sash left or right: for example, if the window consists of two sashes and they rub against each other if you try to open the window. Down up
If the sash touches the lower part of the profile, making it difficult to open and close the window, it needs to be lifted. To do this, you need to adjust the lower hinge - open its decorative plastic cover and tighten it. By acting on the hinges, you can move the sash up or to the side by 4 mm.
Winter summer
The problems listed above are situational in nature, but knowing how to set a REHAU window to winter mode can quite help extend its life.
