The most transparent glass with high light transmission characteristics is called “Planibel”. It can be colorless or colored. Its main feature is its polished surface.

The shade of planibel glass comes from metal oxides. They are added at the moment when the glass mass is in a molten state. This way the material acquires not only a shade, but also additional properties (light transmitting, energy saving). Thanks to the oxides, the following varieties are obtained:

  • planibel gray (gray);
  • green (green);
  • azur (azure);
  • planibel bronze (bronze);
  • priva and dark blue (shades of blue).

There are also clear and extra clear glass and clear glass - planibel cleravision.

Colored glass sheets can have the desired visible shade both from the inside of the building (to create a stylish interior) and from the outside (for facade design). Tinted varieties somewhat distort the color of objects located behind the glass; they acquire a light warm tint.

The material protects from harmful solar radiation. Such filtering properties depend on the thickness of the glass: the thicker the sheet, the better the absorption of solar energy. Using glass can reduce eye strain caused by the sun. Absorption properties make it possible to reduce the thermal impact of the sun, preventing the internal space from overheating.

Glass STOPSOL

STOPSOL is glass with a reflective coating, consisting of sheets of transparent or colored glass from the PLANIBEL brand, one of the sides of which has a thin transparent layer of metal coating. Spraying is applied pyrolytically as the glass exits the furnace. The technological process and the very nature of spraying provide it with strength, stability and durability. Due to their characteristics, these glasses have proven themselves well in the manufacture of dressing rooms, to separate them from the main area of the room.

Due to its unique manufacturing process and the quality of the coating applied, STOPSOL, known as “hard coating”, is a highly durable glass. Thus, the coating can be applied to single-layer glass and it does not change its qualities for many years.

STOPSOL with sun protection coating includes THREE TYPES OF COATING, which in turn give rise to three different product lines:

  • STOPSOL CLASSIC – silver coating with a slight amber tint.
  • STOPSOL SUPERSILVER - silver coating with a slightly bluish tint.
  • STOPSOL SUPERSILVERLIGHT - silver coating with a slightly greenish tint.

What are the features of AGC interior glass?

The leader in terms of popularity in the interior glass category is the Lacobel series, presented in the catalog ]]>https://glasspoint.by/catalog/interior-glass/lacobel.html]]>. This is an excellent solution for creating unique furniture designs and designer interiors.

In comparison with analogues, glass in this series requires the presence of a protective paint layer on the reverse side. This provides resistance to mechanical damage and fading. In the Safe/Safe+ version, the paint coating is combined with a polypropylene-based film, which eliminates the risk of scratches and injury when glass breaks.

AGC float glass: what is it and why is it needed?

Float glass is produced by horizontal release of a metal mass from a melt. The finished material is used where there is a need for aesthetics and high strength: construction, automotive modeling, multi-layer glazing of buildings. Similarly, Planibel Gray glass and other colored float glass from the ]]>https://glasspoint.by/catalog/float/planibel-colored.html]]> series can become the basis for designer furniture or wall cladding. It does not distort the view and is characterized by the same quality and thickness of surfaces.

GlassPoint LLC carries out direct supplies of AGC sheet glass in Belarus from the manufacturer. You can use the convenient catalog to choose the best material to order.

STOPSOL glass can be easily shaped, assembled and installed. After hardening, it can withstand sudden temperature changes. As part of triplex, it provides protection against penetration. As part of a double-glazed window, with the possible addition of low-emissivity glass, it provides thermal insulation. And as part of a double-glazed window with sheets of glass of different thicknesses, it additionally gives the product soundproofing properties. Moreover, by applying different types of processing, STOPSOL becomes a multifunctional product that can adapt to different situations. Multifunctionality means that STOPSOL can be used in structures of any type: office, industrial and public buildings, apartment and individual buildings, pavilions and other decorative structures.

When used in conditions of varying light intensity, STOPSOL protects against glare and guarantees ideal visual comfort. Moreover, certain types of STOPSOL glass reflect light and make the interior of buildings invisible from the outside. Both windows and glass panels STOPSOL CLASSIC and STOPSOL SUPERSILVER are harmonious glass creations through and through. With such a variety of colors and reflective properties, designers can add a special, individual flair to any architectural structure.

Single layer glass

There are three types of spraying - STOPSOL CLASSIC, STOPSOL SUPERSILVER and STOPSOL SUPERSILVER LIGHT which can be applied either to transparent sheet float glass - PLANIBEL, or to colored glass (bronze, grey, green and blue). When mounting and installing coated glass, its location is critical to the color, appearance and performance characteristics of the glass.

Double-glazed windows

To enhance the thermal insulation properties, STOPSOL can be installed in a double-glazed window together with transparent PLANIBEL sheet glass or with low-emissivity glass. The latter combination provides the best performance characteristics in terms of the K coefficient.

Triplex

STOPSOL can also be installed in triplex glass. The coating can be located both on the outside of the glass and on the inside, in contact with the polyvinyl-butyral triplex film. The thermal and photometric characteristics of glass, as well as its appearance, vary depending on the position of the coating.

Glass with decorative coating, heat-resistant and tempered

STOPSOL glasses can be heat-resistant, tempered or have a decorative coating.

The energy absorption level of STOPSOL solar control coating is generally higher than that of conventional glass. However, in order to avoid glass breakage caused by heat, we recommend using heat-resistant or tempered glass.

When using heat-resistant or tempered glass, reflection distortion may occur. These distortions depend on distance, viewing angle, and the angle of incidence of external and internal light sources. This is a completely normal phenomenon due to the technological process.
